The multi-layer structure typically combines a non-woven polypropylene outer layer for mechanical strength, a microporous functional film for vapour diffusion, and an inner layer for additional tear resistance. The result is a lightweight yet robust membrane that enhances the roof’s energy efficiency, prevents mould growth, and prolongs the lifespan of insulation and wooden components.
